About Captain Gordy Webster

Captain  Gordy  Webster  has  been  fishing  the  western  US  for  30+  years  from  California  to  Alaska.   Fishing  has  been  an  “addiction“  from  a  young  age.    

Gordy  attended  Oregon  State  University  where  fishing  was  a  daily  mission  before  and  after  classes.    After  graduating  with  BS  in Business  and  a  lot  of  fishing  gear,  Gordy  traveled  upto  Alaska  to  work  as  a  fly fishing  guide  for  a  leading  lodge  on  Lake  Iliamna.   After  returning  to  Oregon,  Gordy  promptly  purchased  the  Black  Dogg,  a  20’  North  River,  and  began  fishing  as  much  as  possible.    

Today  Gordy  is  guiding  the  Pacific  Ocean,  Buoy  10  fishery  and  Columbia  River on the brand new 2020 28’ Allied Liberator named the ”Grey Dogg.”  Based  out  of  Hammond, OR  in  the  summer  months  and  Portland,  OR  the  rest  of  the  year.
